Self-protrait, made with Heromachine. For those wondering, the scroll represents my creativity, and the torch, my habit of self-destructive/degrading behavior. I'm getting better, though.
Quotes I live by:
“The only true wisdom comes from knowing that you know nothing.”
--Socrates
“Don’t offer questions, or I will retreat,
fame is a cancer, and ego, its seed.
And I wasn’t looking for Heaven or Hell,
just someone to listen to stories I tell.”
--Toad the Wet Sprocket, “Stories I Tell”
“A word spoken is an arrow let fly.”
--Thomas Fuller
“If a man could be crossed with a cat, it would improve the man but degrade the cat.”
“You may say a cat uses good grammar. Well, a cat does—but you let a cat get excited once; you let a cat get to pulling fur with another cat on a shed, nights, and you’ll hear grammar that will give you the lockjaw. Ignorant people think it’s the noise which fighting cats make that is so aggravating, but it ain’t so; it’s the sickening grammar they use.”
--Samuel Langhorne Clemens, aka Mark Twain
There’s not a whole lot to tell beyond that. I generally put fragments of myself into all my characters. I tend to be over-ambitious yet phenomenally lazy, as indicated by my numerous writing projects that have yet to be either completed or begun. Hopefully this page will make a difference in that.
Thanks for the interest. Seriously.
E-Mail me just for chats and giggles.
Head over to the RPG Main page, so you can read the same spiel again.
